Emilio Gomariz is an industrial designer and art director, who lives and works in Madrid, Spain. He likes creativity in any form: photography, art installations, product design, architecture, animation, technological and digital projects. One of his project we like is called Folder Type. Emilio created a font using folders. About this project he says: ‘(Folders) is something that we see every day but do not give more importance than the opening, closing and saving one inside the other. The animation has a total of 22655 folders; I create columns of 48 folders and placing 48 other folders within the first folder in the new column and so to complete the whole transition. Putting the last folder there was a computer error that prevented me from continuing, he said so: “This cannot be completed because one or more factors required have not been found. (Error: -43).” Because of this error I had to stop here and leave it in that way. I would have liked to play more with visual effects, but I am really satisfied with the result.’
